The hardest day I can recall came on a warm sunny October afternoon when I had to say goodbye to a longtime friend. Everyone who met you fell in love with your beauty, your personality, your affection. Every horse's worthiness was weighed against you. It broke my heart to say goodbye, to watch as your buddy whispered goodbye and left you. You will never be forgotten--you were truly a Lady.
LADY DUN MAGIC April 30, 2004-October 27, 2009

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...
